The most common questions before the project starts

We gathered the answers that appear most often before model selection, the quote brief and the move into the HoodHome delivery process.

What is included in the initial quote and later offer?

The initial quote structures the model, delivery scope, energy package and plot context. The exact scope of works, installations and finishing is always confirmed in the offer and later in the contract.

Can the layout of a selected model be changed?

Yes, but the scope depends on the model and on which elements are structural. Functional layout adjustments, partition walls and some user-facing changes are often possible, while larger changes require an individual review.

What construction technology does HoodHome use?

We work in concrete prefabrication technology. The key elements are produced in controlled conditions, which improves repeatability, predictable quality and shortens the work phase on the plot itself.

How long does the delivery of a home take?

Assembly on the plot is noticeably shorter than in traditional construction, but the full schedule depends on the model, scope, plot, formalities and energy package. That is why we provide a reliable timeline after the brief and scope alignment.

Do you help with formalities and documentation?

Yes, we help structure the next steps, required decisions and documents. The exact formal support scope is defined during the brief and offer stage because it depends on the plot and the cooperation model.

What usually remains on the investor's side?

The investor usually keeps ownership of plot-related, financing and final design decisions. Our role is to make the process clear so it is obvious what we handle and where your decision is needed.

What heating and energy package options are available?

Depending on the model and conversation scope, we can refine a package based on a heat pump, heat recovery ventilation and other solutions supporting a modern energy-efficient standard. That is why the budget conversation runs together with the technology package discussion.

Can I start from a standard model and move toward a custom version?

Yes. For many investors, a standard model is a strong starting point for discussing function, size and the scope of changes. It makes variant comparison easier and gives a meaningful base for the first quote.

Check the standard, see the process or compare projects M1–M5.
